National girl child day, it cannot be seen as a DAY in the year, it should be the first brick for change.
Winds of change with the girl child:
-Empowering girls today for a brighter future tomorrow.
- “E for Empowerment of Extension.”
There is no collective(male and female) construction in nation growth or nation-building, because,
Everyone is needy in their own developmental process, and development is needy on change, this gives rise to everyone being needy in CHANGE, but/ then why can’t change come from everyone( all genders, especially talk about girls/ girl child), why only men/ male?
Even though we have many empowering groups across the world and a ministry( ministry of women and child development) for girls and girl child. Campaigning for empowerment and awareness of girls' development is not enough but what do we need for change and for them?
Empowerment doesn’t mean good education, good health, and good nutrition, empowerment implies EXTENDING POWER TO WOMEN.
WE have a handful of women who have extended power over them( Nirmala Sitaraman, Sudha Murthy, Vineeta Singh, and Grete Thunberg; cabinet minister, writer, entrepreneur, and activist respectively.) we know they contribute to change, this is what we need for the girl child.
As WE know how the wind changes the whole geography of a place, the same as how a girl’s extension of power can resize/ change the world as a whole. If you want to experience the Change, then start giving an Extension to the girl child.
Thought-provoking !!
